File Manager: Zip Upload FilesWARNING!! Zip upload will upload your zip file and extract its contents into the current folder overwriting existing files!
Note: A zip file has the .zip file extension and its file type is a compressed (zipped) folder. 1. Click on the File Manager menu. 2. Navigate to the directory where you want to upload the zip file. This directory should now display as the "Current Directory". 3. Click in the File Upload box then click the Browse button. 4. Navigate to and select the zip file you want to upload then click the Open button. 5. Check to make sure the Current Directory is set to the location where you want to upload and unzip the zip file. (WARNING: the contents of this directory will be overwritten when the zip file is uploaded and extracted here). 6. Click the Zip Upload button to upload the file to the server. 7. The pop-up message "This action will upload your file and extract its contents into the current folder overwriting existing files" displays. If you are sure you want to proceed with this action, click OK. If you want to cancel the operation, click Cancel. |
