Sections: Add a Section

  1. Click on the Sections menu.  
  2. Click the Add button.
  3. In the Section Name box, type a name for the section you want to create (Example:  Corporate Profile).
  4. In the Status area, you can select from the following list of options:
Active: a check mark indicates that this section/subsection is approved to be published in the web site
Public:  a check mark indicates that the new section/subsection will be seen by all web site visitors
Subsection: a check mark indicates this is a subsection
Parent Section: if this is a subsection, you must select the name of the parent section from the list
  1. In the Selection Type box, select from the following list of options: 

If you selected Forum Link, click the down arrow on the Forum box and select the Forum name.
If you selected URL link, enter the website address in the URL Link box.  
If you selected Article Link, click the down arrow on the Article Link box and select the Article name.
If you selected Page Link, click the down arrow on the Page Link box and select the Page name.
If you selected Form Link, click the down arrow on the Form Link box and select the Form name.
If you selected URL (New Window), enter the web site address in the URL Link box.
If you selected Form Submission, click the down arrow on the Form Link box and select the Form name.
If you selected Form View, click the down arrow on the on the Form Link box and select the Form name.

  1. Meta Description:  This defaults to the Setup meta description and can be edited or replaced to give this Section a unique description. 
  2. Meta Keywords:  This defaults to the Setup meta keywords and can be edited or replaced to give this Section unique keywords.
  3. Click the Add button at the bottom.
Note:  If you click the Reset button, it will clear the form.
