Content Editor: Types of Content
cymCMS® is a powerful, dynamic, content management system that enables the creation and management of your web site content with ease. There are a number of different types of content you can create including:
Sections - Menus that are used to navigate the website. Articles - Content that is displayed on web pages (e.g., product announcements, spec sheets, case histories, etc...). Articles must be linked to sections. Pages - Similar to articles but pages do not have to be linked to a section. Pages are often used for information such as About Us, Company Background, or Contact Us. Multimedia - images, audio, video Forms - The Form Wizard allows you to easily create custom forms to gather data from web site users (no programming or HTML skills are required). Events - Announcements for events such as seminars, product launches, trade shows and other organization functions can be published on the web site. You can also link a form (e.g., registration form) to an event. Spots - Strategic locations in the web site template where dynamic information is placed (e.g., stock quotes, weather forecasts, daily quotes, etc...).

Content Editor: Using the Content Editor
The cymCMS® Content Editor provides features such as: “copy and paste”, text and background color changes, font choice and sizes, formatting, table creation, picture and graphics insertion, etc. This is perhaps one of the core attributes of cymCMS® that makes it so easy to use. The content editor is compatible with virtually all browsers. HTML source code editing is also available. |
